A successful debut for Hungarian dealer
New Hungarian dealer Valkon Kft enjoys a record-breaking success at the largest agricultural exhibition in Hungary.
Valkon Kft was appointed in January by Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) to offer the full range of Hitachi construction machinery equipment and services to customers in Hungary.
Founded in May 2007, Valkon Kft. has gained a strong reputation for supplying high-quality products used in forestry and agricultural equipment. “Many of our customers are involved in the construction industry as well as agriculture, and we can provide them with a high level of after-sales support, including service and parts,” says Managing Director Sándor Kecskeméti.
The experienced team at Valkon is made up of more than 70 employees and its service team receives regular training from the manufacturers it represents.
“The most important basis for the success of our company is the strong relationships we have established with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and colleagues, based on professional commitment and trust,” he adds.
Valkon Kft made its grand debut as the newly appointed dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) at AGROmashEXPO in Budapest in January.
The event at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center is the largest agricultural exhibition in Hungary. It spans over 37,000m² and welcomes over 40,000 attendees from across eastern Europe[NW1] . The 2024 event was bigger and better than ever before, with more than 300 exhibitors from 12 countries, including HCME dealer, Valkon.
From 24-27 January, Valkon showcased Hitachi construction machinery at its 800m² stand – a record-breaking presence for the dealership at this event. Taking centre stage on the impressive display was a ZW220-7 wheel loader, renowned for its exceptional comfort and superior performance, and the highly versatile and efficient ZX48-6 mini excavator.
“We are proud to represent the Hitachi Construction Machinery brand in our country and introduce its reliable equipment to our customers in both the construction and agricultural industries,” said Managing Director Sándor Kecskeméti.
The exhibition provided an ideal platform for Valkon to introduce its relationship with Hitachi Construction Machinery and the wide range of equipment available.
Hungarian customers showed substantial interest in the models on display, recognising the potential applications of wheel loaders and excavators in agricultural settings.
